configure lldp ports vendor-specific dot1 vlan-name

configure lldp ports [all | <portlist>] [advertise | no-advertise]
vendor-specific dot1 vlan-name
Description
Configures LLDP ports to advertise or not advertise VLAN name information to its neighbors. This
allows an IEEE 802.1Q-compatible 802 LAN station to advertise the assigned name of any VLAN with
which it is configured. Since this is a vendor specific option, there may not be support for this from the
neighbor.

Default
The default is not to advertise.
Usage Guidelines

Example
The following command configures all ports to not advertise VLAN name information to
neighbors.
configure lldp ports all no-advertise vendor-specific dot1 vlan-name
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.4.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all Extreme switches.

Specifies that information is to be sent to neighbors.
