The Control Center/Servers summary web page opens.
Click a Server Name hyperlink on the navigation bar.
The Control Center/Server Configuration web page opens.
Select the Auto-refresh checkbox and, optionally, change the value in the seconds
field.
The Auto-refresh option causes the page to be refreshed until all of the services
on the node are in either IN_SERVICE or SHUTDOWN state.
Also, a page refresh occurs automatically whenever you START/STOP/RESTART
a particular service.
When Auto-refresh is in progress, avoid performing another CRS-related actions
until the refresh completes.
Click the Component Activation hyperlink.
The system applies the changes.
The Cisco CRS system stores configuration information in an LDAP server.
Storing applications and scripts in an LDAP server allows you to share all
Cisco CRS applications and scripts on all Cisco CRS servers in the network.
The LDAP server stores information about the cluster in a cluster profile. A
cluster profile is an LDAP Organizational Unit that contains a set of LDAP
entries, which include data relating to the Cisco CRS servers, components, and
licenses installed in a cluster.
You can use the Unified CM Data Connection Directory (DCD) as your IP
telephony directory, or you can use an existing directory in your system such as
Netscape Directory (ND) or Microsoft Active Directory (AD).
Initial configuration of the directory server is performed during installation. You
should rarely change the settings, unless you need to alter a configuration or
re-initialize a profile.
