T
HE BUILDING MANAGER ACCEPTS THE INVITATION
In the email sent before, the building manager can confirm the site transfer operation by pressing on a
specific link contained in the same email. The installer receives a notification via email that the building
manager has accepted the transfer of ownership of the site. In IPerCom Installer Tools the transfer of site
ownership is notified as follows (green box):
Once the invitation has been accepted, the new building manager can access the CallMe Manager
application with the same credentials provided to the installer and view the acquired site and configure the
call forwarding function (for further details see the paragraph
IPerCom systems in IPerCloud
When an installer creates a site, he is also building manager and therefore, authenticating on the
CallMe Manager application with the same credentials with which he logged in to IPerCom Installer
Tools, he can view the same site. After the transfer to the building manager, viewing of site on the
CallMe Manager application will no longer be possible and the installer can only make changes to
the configuration and distribute them to the system by IPerCom Installer Tools.
The procedure described above, that is transferring the site to the building manager from IPerCom Installer
Tools, is recommended in the case of a system without apartments in IPerCloud mode: in this case the
building manager using the CallMe Manager application will only have to print the letters for the activation
of the call forwarding function. In the case of apartments in IPerCloud mode, it is recommended to follow
the procedure reported in the paragraph
IPerCloud
mode: the transfer of the site to the building manager takes place via the CallMe Manager
application, after the installer has assigned licenses to the apartments. In this way, the building manager's
only task will be (as before) to print the letters for the end users for configuring call forwarding and not
worry about associating the licenses with the apartments.
If a building manager also wants to take care of associating the licenses with the apartments, the
installer can transfer the site to him after completing the configuration, the test mode, and the pre-
activation of the licenses.
After transferring ownership of the site to the building manager, the installer can still make changes
to the system configuration and apply them to the system itself and the building manager is able to
view these changes on the CallMe Manager application.
