The steps below provide a general overview of how to set up a Radvision MCU-30 in
Polycom ReadiManager LX100. The parameter fields that appear for this model are
described under
Parameter Fields for a Radvision MCU-30
1.
Create a resource record for a hub. For details, see
page 52.

After you create the Resource, when prompted, click the Add Equipment link.

In the Equipment Information form, select Gateways, Bridges, MCU in the
Equipment Category field:

In the Equipment Description field, select the type of MCU (for this example,
Radvision Via MCU-60, since it is closet in model functionality to the MCU-30).
The screen refreshes and Equipment Parameter fields that need to be defined for
this MCU appear.

Enter the IP Address, Login Name, and Password for the MCU.

Define the H.323 (IP) Services used by this MCU.

Description
Indicates whether the MGC is IVR capable.
Note: When this is set to "Y," People + Content cannot be used
in a conference scheduled through this MCU.
The IP number which conference participants will dial to get to
the IVR prompt when accessing a meeting.
The ISDN-allocated phone number of the IVR.
The Conference Limits parameters define resource limitations
for this MCU implementation.
Maximum number of licensed continuous presence
conferences. This must be a numerical character.
Maximum total conferences at once.
Maximum total of MCU participants at once.
Maximum number of transcoding ports—that is, ports on which
both ISDN and IP participants can be connected.
