Creating Categories

Polycom ReadiManager LX100 includes several support features, available directly
from the menu bar, by clicking Support and then choosing a support option:
Online manual. An HTML version of this guide, Polycom ReadiManager LX100
Administrator's Guide, is available while using the web interface of Polycom
ReadiManager LX100.
Downloads. The Downloads page gives users access to installation program for
the Outlook and Lotus Notes components of Polycom ReadiManager LX100, PDF
versions of documentation for scheduling and administration, and the Codec Setup
program.
Note:
Documentation that can be downloaded is provided in PDF format. Users will
need Adobe Reader in order to open and view these files. If your users do not currently
have Adobe Reader installed, they can obtain it from http://www.adobe.com.
Polycom ReadiManager LX100 comes with a number of equipment categories, for use
in grouping and organizing equipment.
You can create additional categories, if needed.
To create a new category
1.
From the menu bar, select Admin > Categories.
2.
Click the
Add New
3.
In the Equipment Category Form, enter a Category name and Description.
4.
If you want the category to become a filterable item in the Resource Equipment
form, check the Selector Filter box.
5.
Click Update.
The category becomes available, You can now associate equipment with it.
