(If you already created the MGC equipment record, access the equipment record
by going to Resources > List All. Then click the Equip link for the resource with
which the MGC is associated. Then in the list of Equipment, click the Equipment
link for the MGC to open the Equipment form.)
5. Locate the IVR Number field in the Equipment form.
Make sure the ISDN number entered in the IVR Number field is the same as the
number entered in the Dial-in Number of the entry queue, in step 3 above.
In addition, using cascading MCUs can allow a large conference with a large number
of participants to be in a single call that otherwise would not be possible with a single
MCU. In a cascading-MCU conference, rooms are grouped according to their nearest
MCU, based on zone information.
In order for an MCU to cascade, it must be assigned to at least two resources or rooms.
Otherwise the room is assigned to a different MCU, even though there is a MCU nearby.
Priority is given to the MCU with the highest number of participants.
