Importing Resources

To use the template
1.
From the menu bar, choose Admin > Import.
2.
In the Import Options form, make sure that Import Type is set to Users.
3.
Click the link to the template file,

When a dialog asks you to save or open the file, save it to your computer.
5.
Enter your user data in the file you downloaded, or use it as a reference model for
creating your own .csv file. (Microsoft Excel can open and export to .csv files.)
To import user data
1.
From the menu bar, choose Admin > Import.
2.
In the Import Options form, make sure that Import Type is set to Users.
3.
Click the Browse button and navigate to the .CSV file that contains your user data.
4.
Select how duplicates should be handled by choosing either "Overwrite any
duplicate data found" or "Skip any duplicate data found."
5.
Click
Submit
to upload the data from the file to Polycom ReadiManager LX100.
When the import is complete, Import Results will display the number of records
processed. You can click
they can be corrected before the next import is done.
After importing, he user data will be available on the list of users, by choosing
Users > List All.
When importing resources, the required fields are Name, Nickname, and Zone.
Notes:
Make sure that any resource names which are numbers are enclosed in quotation marks.
For example: "27364".
Make sure that zones specified already exist in Polycom ReadiManager LX100.
Resource records with zones that do not exist will not be imported. For information
about setting up zones, see
