Interface Configuration

The X1, X2, X11 and X12 network interfaces of the controller are connected with
an integrated configurable 5-port switch, in which the fifth port is connected to the
CPU.
The four interfaces and configurable switch enable wiring for:
One common network where all four ports share a common IP address.
Two separate networks, each of which has two ports sharing a common IP
address.
Two separate networks where one port has its own IP address and three
ports share a common IP address.
Three separate networks: one IP address per port, plus a common IP
address for two ports.
Four separate networks where each port has its own IP address.
The physical interfaces (ports) are assigned via logical bridges and can be e.g.,
configured via the WBM.

For network interfaces X1 ... X<n>, fixed IP addresses can be set temporarily
("Fix IP Address" mode). The setting is carried out with the Reset button (see
Section "Commissioning" > ... > "Temporarily Setting Fixed IP Addresses").
Setting a fixed IP address has no effect on the mode previously set.
