Before investigating an unusual sound or
attempting to correct a problem, place GSL
in N-DETENT, shut off engine, and remove
key.
Perform the checks and service in the following
table after the indicated hours of operation.
Refer to the specific section under reference for
service procedures:
CHECK
Torque – 175-200 ft-lbf (237-271 N·m)
Repeat Checks Until Torque Stabilizes.
Tension
Torque – 115-127 ft-lbf (156-172 N·m)
Inboard Bolt Torque – 100 ft-lbf (135 N·m).
Outboard Bolt Torque – 100 ft-lbf (135 N·m)
Torque – 330 ft-lbf (448 N·m)
Torque – 330 ft-lbf (448 N·m)
Torque – 175-200 ft-lbf (237-271 N·m)
Repeat Checks at 20 and 30 hours.
Dealer Adjust
Hand Tighten Unless Otherwise Noted.
Torque – 330 ft-lbf (448 N·m)
Inboard Bolt Torque – 100 ft-lbf (135 N·m).
Outboard Bolt Torque – 100 ft-lbf (135 N·m)
Torque 175-200 ft-lbf (237-271 N·m)
Repeat Checks Until Torque Stabilizes.
