TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
High resistance in circuit or poor
ground on lights.
Defective light switch.
Burnt out light bulb
Defective light switch.
Broken wiring.
Open or defective circuit breaker.
Defective relay.
Poor ground on lights.
Reversed wires.
Circuit breaker tripped.
Broken or disconnected wire.
PROBLEM
Contaminant in relief valve.
Appropriate solenoids not being
energized by activating switch.
Relief pressure too low or
contaminant in relief valve.
Header drive switch not engaged.
Flow controls adjusted too low.
Appropriate solenoid on flow control
block not being energized.
Relief pressure too low.
PROBLEM
Header drive switch in cab not
engaged.
Appropriate solenoid not being
energized by activating switch.
Operator presence switch not
closed or faulty.
Header drive overload.
Compensator valve setting too low.
Header drive overload.

Check the wiring circuit for a
break in a wire or a poor ground.
Contact MacDon dealer.
Replace light bulb

Clean and tighten ground wires.

Breaker automatically resets.

Clean relief valve at cylinder
