! With this motor, the position of a mirror can be adjusted to correct
colour registration errors in the main scan direction.
! K is used as the reference for the adjustment, and the 3
does not have a motor.

# The motors are shown by red circles in the diagram on the slide. The mirrors that
are controlled by these motors are shaded grey.
# The adjustment is done during the MUSIC process.
# The output from temperature sensors inside the laser optics unit also has an
effect on this adjustment. This is because changes in temperature can change
the shape of the optics components. During the MUSIC process, the mirror
positions are adjusted to compensate for these changes.
