# This diagram shows how the ID sensor and TD sensor control the toner supply.
# The upper diagram shows that the ID sensor measures the amount of toner
(M/A) on the Vsp pattern every 10 pages.
# If the M/A is too high, then the machine increases Vtref. An example is point A in
the diagram. Note that Vtref is increased at this time (see the bottom diagram).
# If the M/A is too low, then the machine decreases Vtref. An example is point B in
the diagram. Note that Vtref is decreased at this time (see the bottom diagram).
# The bottom diagram shows the Vt readings (made every page – not all data
points are shown).
# Toner supply amount is based on (Vt – Vtref), which is shown in the bottom
diagram.
