Adding an IMT measurement

Use the IMT (Intima-Media Thickness) measurement tools to generate the following
measurements across an artery:
Intima-Media Thickness (IMT)
l
Intima Thickness plus Media (I/M)
l
You can measure the IMT of the near or far walls of the artery or vein.
WARNING: To ensure high-quality images, all patient images should be
obtained by qualified and trained individuals in ultrasound.
WARNING: To avoid interpretation errors that might affect patient safety,
only a qualified and trained individual in ultrasound should interpret
IMT results.
WARNING: To avoid patient injury, IMT results should not be used as a
sole diagnostic tool. All IMT results should be interpreted in conjunction
with other clinical information or risk factors.
WARNING: To avoid patient injury associated with misdiagnosis or
measurement errors, verify that the patient information is accurate before
transferring images from the Vevo MD Imaging System, before performing
any IMT measurements and before every exam.
WARNING: To avoid misdiagnosis or harming the patient outcome, start a
new patient form before starting a new patient exam and performing
measurement calculations. Starting a new patient form clears the previous
patient's data. See

on your computer is correct.
