Description
Hot surface hazard.
The International Protection Marking (IP Code), IEC 60529 rates
the degrees of protection provided by enclosures of electrical
equipment. UHF transducers are protected against water
immersion—immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.
Conformité Européenne. Product meets the safety requirements of
the European Union.
IEC 60601-1 uses this term to refer to the part of the medical
device which comes into physical contact with the patient. The
UHF transducers is classified as Type BF—devices that have
conductive contact with the patient, or having medium or long term
contact with the patient.
Proof of product compliance (electrical, gas and other safety
standards) to North American safety standards.
European Union WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment) Directive 96/86/EEC. Identifies the directive on waste
electrical and electronic equipment. Refer to local regulations for
disposal.
