Color Doppler Mode acquisition and analysis
Color Doppler Mode is used to measure blood flow through vessels. The system
converts the doppler sounds into colors. These colors are then overlaid on the image
of the blood vessel, which represents the relative velocity and direction of blood flow
through the vessel.
This mode is useful for blood flow applications such as:
Distinguishing non-vascular tissue structures from vascular tissue structures

Identifying vascular structures that can be more difficult to identify in other

ultrasound modes
