This section contains information required by regulatory agencies; the output display
standard, acoustic power and intensity tables, and other safety information. The
information applies to the ultrasound system, transducer, accessories, and
peripherals.
Please read the safety information before using the Vevo MD Imaging System. The
following information applies to the Vevo MD Imaging System and supporting
equipment.
This equipment is intended to be used by qualified research scientists.
Read all warnings and cautionary notes carefully before you use this equipment.
WARNING:
High levels of transmitted ultrasound energy can damage
tissue. Never tamper with or alter the Vevo MD Imaging System in any way
such that the acoustic power level is increased.
WARNING:
Use ONLY FUJIFILM SonoSite UHF transducers with the Vevo
MD Imaging System. The use of other transducers may affect safety and
system performance.
Electric shock
WARNING:
Before connecting the Vevo MD Imaging System to the mains,
verify that the specified power supply voltage range on the safety label
matches the hospital supply voltage.
An incorrect power source voltage could cause an electrical hazard and
could cause serious damage to the equipment.
WARNING:
Before connecting the Vevo MD Imaging System to the mains,
always check that the mains cable is undamaged.
