Anaesthesia module with electronic flowmeters box
The anaesthesia module with electronic flowmeters box, has the function to regulate
quantity and concentration in gas mixture (Air, O 2 , N 2 O) showing it on flowmeter
box TFT display, as well as to delivery it to the anaesthetic gas vaporizer.
It allows selecting the mixture to be delivered (Air-O 2 , or N 2 O-O 2 ) and the O 2
enrichment to the delivered mixture in emergency situations. It includes a device,
which guarantees a minimum concentration of 25% oxygen in all gas erogating
conditions (MIX-LIFE device).
Through the three pressure gauges on the front panel it allows the continuous
control of medical gas feeding pressure coming from the gas pipelines system.
The flowmeter box is electronically controlled and has a traditional type safety
flowmeter indicating the total capacity.
The electronic flowmeter box provides the option on demand to use an alternative
anaesthetic gas in spite of N 2 O: the Xenon.
