b) If this procedure is being performed to replace a failed PCI card, ensure that the following
have been done:

A spare PCI card is available. Inspect the replacement card and shipping container for
indications of damage. If damage is noted, contact the project manager or report damage
to the carrier. Ensure that the contents in the shipping container are complete; notify the
project manager or the Customer Care Center of any discrepancies. In particular, verify
that the contents include:
A part number label on the replacement PCI card (see
