3.2 Removing and installing bottom trim
panel of pillar A on the driver's side
Removing
– Remove the operating lever for the front flap (Pos. 1)
⇒ "1.9.2 Removing and installing", page 31
– Unclip the door sill panel in the transition area to the trim panel
of the A pillar out of the supports in the body.
– Remove the straddling dowel -2-.
– Pull the trim panel -3- towards the inside and out of the sup‐
ports in the body.
Note
Before the installation, check the straddling dowel -2- for damage, replace if necessary.
Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.
