– Unscrew screw -1- (40 Nm) and loosen the belt end fitting
-2- from the body.
Installing
The installation occurs in reverse order.
– Connect the vehicle battery ⇒ Electrical System; Rep. gr. 27 ;
disconnect and connect the battery .
1.2 Removing and installing the front seat
belt height adjuster
Removing
– Slacken the upper trim panel of the B pillars from the supports
⇒ "3.4 Removing and installing top B-pillar trim panel",
page 266 .
– Unscrew the screw -1- (40 Nm) and release the belt deflection
fitting -2- from the seat belt height adjustment.
– Screw out screw -1- (20 Nm) and remove the seat belt height
adjuster -2- from the supports in the support panel.
Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.

Note
On vehicles with automatic seatbelt detection system, the wiring
harness must be separated additionally at the connector station
and it must be released at the seat rack.
