Door adjustment
Note
The vehicle must be standing on its wheels in order to adjust

the rear door.
The rear door is correctly adjusted if in the closed state it has

an overall even gap size, is not positioned too far inwards or
outwards and the contours are aligned.
Observe the gap sizes of the front door ⇒ Body Repairs; Rep.

After carrying out adjustment work, perform corrosion protec‐
♦
tion measures at the screws and hinges.
Setting the gap sizes
In order to correctly set the gap sizes, the screws
-2, 5, 7, and 8- must be slackened at the A pillar.
– The bottom B pillar trim panel must be removed for the screw
