1.6 Removing and installing the rear win‐

Removing damaged window
WARNING
It is essential to wear protective goggles and gloves when cut‐
ting hardened PUR adhesive sealing material and when han‐
dling the cutting cord.
Observe the electrical wiring harnesses routed under the win‐
dow when cutting the rear window.
– Protect vehicle interior from glass splinters.
– Remove high-level brake light ⇒ Electrical system ⇒ Rep. gr.
94 .
– Remove rear window wiper (if present) ⇒ Electrical System
⇒ Rep. gr. 92 .
– Disconnect the plug connections of the heated rear window
and press the contact tabs onto the window.
