– For cutting the disc, use e.g. an electric cutting device -V.A.G
1561/A- or cutting wire - 357 853 999 B- or cutting cord - 357
845 955- .
Note
When cutting the window, pay attention at the point of the distance
clips which are vulcanized to the window.
– Cut back adhesive cement to a thickness of approx. 1 mm.
Removing undamaged window
WARNING
It is essential to wear protective goggles and gloves when cut‐
ting hardened PUR adhesive sealing material and when han‐
dling the cutting cord.
– Remove top trim panel of pillar C and D

– Remove antenna plug (depending upon equipment).
– Cover the painted surfaces along the window with textile ad‐
hesive tape.
– To cut the window, use an electrical cutting device, e.g. -V.A.G
1561/A- or a pneumatic cutting device, e.g. -VAS 5177- or
cutting thread - 357 853 999 B- or cutting cord - 357 845 955- .
