Note
Before the installation, check all the fixing elements for damage,
if necessary replace.
– Ensure that the moulded headliner -1- is located in the double-
braided strip of all the door seals after the installation.
7.2 Removing and installing the dampings
and roof reinforcements
Removing
– Remove the moulded headliner
⇒ "7.1 Removing and installing moulded headliner",
page 282 .
– Cut the dampings and the roof reinforcements - 1 and 2 - into
strips of approx. 9 cm width (Pos.3), using a carpet knife
- (dotted lines) -.
– Detach the strips -3- from the roof.
– Cut back the glue residues - 4 -.
