Removing
– Disconnect battery earth strap ⇒ Electrical System; Rep. gr.
27 .
– Put steering wheel in the lowest position.
– Pull out steering wheel fully up to the limit stop.
– Turn steering wheel until one of the holes -arrows- is located
at the top.
– Lever off the spring -arrow A- in -the direction of arrow B- using
a screwdriver (max. total length of the screwdriver approx. 170
mm, width approx. 5 mm).
Note
When unhooking the spring, push away airbag unit from steering
wheel.
– Repeat process for the second spring.
– Carefully remove airbag unit from the steering wheel and fold
back.
