1.1.2 Removing
– Remove wheelhouse liners
⇒ "1.1 Front wheelhouse liner", page 158
– Remove screws -1- (1,5 Nm).
– Remove screws -2- (3,5 Nm).
– Detach the front bumper from the left and right guide parts on
the wing below the headlights.
– Slacken the bumper on the side guides.
– Detach the front bumper - 3 - parallel from the vehicle with the
assistance of a 2nd mechanic.
– Disconnect the plug connections of the existing electrical com‐
ponents.
– Separate the hose connections from the hoses of the cleaning
system (if present) ⇒ Electrical System; Rep. gr. 92 .
1.1.3 Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.
