Moulded headliner

7.1 Removing and installing moulded head‐
liner
Removing
– Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
– Removing sun visors

– Remove the top trim panel of the pillar A

– Loosen the top trim panel of pillar B

– Remove the trim panels of C-pillar

– Remove the recessed handles of the roof

– Remove top parts of side luggage compartment trim panel

– Fold back backrests.
– Put the steering wheel into the lowest position by means of the
adjustment functions.
Vehicles fitted with a manual gearbox
– Engage the "2nd gear" with the shift lever.
Vehicles with an automatic gearbox
– Select the driving position "S" with the selector lever.
Vehicles with interior monitoring
– Disconnect the motion sensor and the sensor for vehicle in‐
clination (depending upon vehicle equipment) ⇒ Electrical

All vehicles
– Remove screws -2- (2 Nm) of front interior light ⇒ Electrical

– Remove the rear interior light ⇒ Electrical System; Rep. gr.
