gateway-mode

Use gateway-mode to enable the gateway mode for the router.
Use undo gateway-mode to restore the default.
Syntax
gateway-mode
undo gateway-mode

The router operates in normal mode.

Usage guidelines
To validate gateway mode, you must restart the router after you execute the gateway-mode command.
The display current-configuration command does not show information about gate mode configuration.
To view the current and the next-startup operating modes, execute the display device command.
The gateway mode is designed for gateway applications and it does not support all the functions of the
normal mode.
To get best performance, upgrade the router memory to 2 GB before enabling the gateway mode.

Description
Source IP address and source port. A hyphen (-) indicates no source IP address or
source port is available.
Destination IP address and destination port. A hyphen (-) indicates no destination
IP address or destination port is available.
Protocol type.
Inbound interface.
Outbound interface.
Statistics of bytes forwarded.
Total number of forwarding entries.
