1. Park the machine on the level surface, set the parking brake, lower the
cutting units, shut off the engine, and remove the key from the key switch.
2. Remove the steering cover to access the steering tower components.
3. Remove the locknut and flat washer that secures the steering wheel to the
steering tower.
