Yanmar Diesel Engine: Service and Repairs
Make sure that hoist or lift used to remove engine can properly
support engine. Engine assembly without hydraulic pumps weighs
approximately 295 kg (650 lb).
15. Connect suitable hoist or lift to the front and rear lift tabs on engine. Do not
allow the lift chains or straps to contact the DPF.

16. Remove lock nuts, snubbing washers and cap screws securing the engine
isolator mounts to the engine brackets
One person should operate lift or hoist while the other person guides
the engine out of the machine.
