2WD or 4WD
NOTE: Machines with or without four wheel drive should
not be allowed to exceed 40 km/h (24.9 mph).
A freewheel descent or towing the machine at excessive
speed may cause loss of control, personal injury to the
operator or damage to transmission. Keep the machine
in the same gear going downhill as would be used when
going uphill. The engagement of the 2WD and 4WD must
be carried out with stopped machine.
4WD Switch (1)
This switch has two positions:
First position (Power-Shuttle) (by pushing button on

the right
):
rear wheel drive and braking on rear wheels for all
gears (lamp off).
First position (Power-Shift) (by pushing button on
•
the right
):
rear wheel drive with braking only on rear wheels
(only in first and second gear) (lamp off):
rear wheel drive and braking on four wheel (in third
and fourth gear) (lamp on).
NOTICE: 4WD braking is only active with both brake
pedals latched together.

Second position (by pushing button on the left
4 wheel drive and braking on 4 wheels (lamp on).

NOTE: To prevent undue tire wear when travelling on pub-
lic highways or on any hard surface, it is recommended
that the four wheel drive is disengaged, particularly in 3rd
or 4th gear.
