Differential lock button

NOTICE: Never use the differential lock during road
travel.
The differential lock gives equal power to both rear
wheels.
It is particularly useful when the wheels have insufficient
grip, as in the following cases.
When the machine is stuck
Make sure that the rear wheels are not turning.
Press the differential lock button (1).
Use the accelerator pedal to increase the engine speed
and then release the differential lock button (1).
NOTE: The differential is automatically released when the
locking system is disengaged, when the rear wheel grip
returns to normal, with no wheel slip or when one of the
brake pedals is operated.
Before crossing a soft or muddy area
WARNING
Loss of control hazard!
Avoid using differential lock at speeds above
8 km/h (5 mph). Never use at speeds above 15
km/h (9 mph) or at any time when turning the
machine.
Failure to comply could result in death or se-
rious injury.
Make sure that the machine is moving in a straight line
and that both rear wheels are turning at the same speed.
Press the differential lock button (1).
After you have moved through the area, release the dif-
ferential lock button (1).
NOTE: You can cause damage to the transmission if you
try to engage the differential lock when the machine is
turning or if one of the two rear wheels is rotating faster
than the other one.
