4.8.3 Connections on a Multi-Position Column Switching Valve

Fig. 28 shows the connections on a multi-position column switching valve (here as an
example, on a 6-position, 7-port valve).

4.9 Connecting Drain Tubing

To discharge liquid leaks that might have accumulated in the interior, the TCC has a drain
port at the bottom right of the instrument.
Direct liquid leaks to waste through the drain system of the UltiMate 3000 system, by
using the components from the drain kit. The kit is shipped with the UltiMate 3000 pumps
and can be ordered separately (part no. 6040.0005). The kit includes all required
components and detailed installation instructions.
