7.3.1 Inspecting the Column Switching Valve for Leakage

Several drain holes are provided on the stator ring. If liquid droplets appear on one or more
drain holes, this may indicate valve leakage.
Drain hole
Take the following remedial action:
Replace the rotor seal or replace the rotor seal and stator face seal whatever is applicable
(→ page 107).
Replace the stator (→ page 105).
Replace the valve pod (→ page 100).
