These handles will be hot. Use protective glove or
cloth, or severe burns will result.
7. Remove and discard old filter pad. Clean and dry pan,
frame, and grid thoroughly.
8. Place grid and new charcoal filter pad in frame with
smooth side down and secure in drain pan with
handles. Be sure the handles press down on the
protrusions on the frame, or the filter may not
function properly.
9. Slide the drain pan back into place u
and connect the filter union by hand
wrench to tighten.
