To
replace the pump and motor assembly, insure
the main power has been removed from the fr;ver.
Before starting
this procedure move MAIN
POWER SWITCH to OFF position. Disconnect
main circuit breaker at the main circuit breaker
box and unplug service cord from wall receptacle,
or electrical shock could result.
5.
emove the cover from the junction box and remove
the wire nuts attaching wires leading into the flex-
ible conduit going to the motor.
6. Loosen the two screws securing the flexible conduit
to the 90" conduit connector (8).
7.
emove tubing to the pump. ( efer to figures 6-28
and 6-30).
8.
emove hardware attaching the motor to the motor
base bracket (16, figure 6-28) and remove motor $$
and pump assembly.

The filter pump motor is equipped with a manual reset
button in the event the motor's thermal protector
actuates. This reset button is located on the rear of the
motor. Wait approximately 5 minutes before attempting
to reset this protector device.
To prevent burns caused by splashing shorteni
the unit's main power switch must be in the 0
position before resetting the filter pump motor's
manual reset protection device.
