Questions and answers
This question is about E-10 reset button. Reset button doesn't seem to work, but if you hold the button for 5 seconds The high limit will go off into e-10 even when fryer is off and cold. So when the fryer does get too hot it just shuts off. without e-10 or quickly flash the error for a split second before shutting down.
The E-10 error indicates a high limit trip. If the reset button does not work, it could be due to one of the following:
1. The oil has not cooled down enough. The high limit will not reset until the oil is at a safe temperature.
2. The reset button was not held down for the required 5 seconds.
3. The high limit device itself is faulty and must be replaced.
Ensure the oil is cool and try holding the red rocker reset switch for 5 seconds. If it still doesn't reset, the high limit must be replaced.
