Rear Cross Traffic Alert
(RCTA)

The Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) is an
aid system for backing up. When the RCTA
system detects vehicles approaching from
sides while your vehicle is reversing, the
Blind Spot Warning lights in outside rearview
mirrors on both sides will blink and a buzzer
will sound to alert the driver. A warning mes-
sage will also appear on the information
screen of the multi-information display.
