Problem
Cannot shift the select position
from the "P" (PARK) position.
The windows are fogged up.
The Plug-in Hybrid EV system
does not start.
The lights do not come on.
The lights are dim.
The horn does not honk.
The horn sound is weak.
Make sure the ready indicator illuminates, and move the selector lever while pressing the
brake pedal.
If the ready indicator does not illuminate, you can shift the select position to the "N" (NEU-
TRAL) position only.

Have the 12 V Starter battery checked. Recharge or replace the 12 V Starter battery at a certi-
fied Mitsubishi EV dealer.
