Port Status:

Command Mode: Exec mode or Privileged Exec mode
Logon to Exec Mode (View Mode) or Privileged Exec Mode (Enable Mode).
The switch_a> or switch_a# prompt will show on the screen.

Use the show interface command to display interface configuration and status.

Command Syntax:
show interface IFNAME
IFNAME specifies the name of the interface for which status and configuration information is desired.

Example:
The following example shows the use of show interface to display interface configuration and status of
the interface fe1 (port 1):
switch_a>show interface fe1
Alarm Situation:
1.
Command Mode: Privileged Exec mode
Logon to Privileged Exec Mode (Enable Mode).
The switch_a# prompt will show on the screen.

Usage:
Use the show sfp-alarm-trigger command to show the information of SFP alarm trigger including
temperature, Vcc, Tx_bias, Tx_pow and Rx_pow.

Command Syntax:
show sfp-alarm-trigger IFNAME
IFNAME specifies the name of the interface for which status and configuration information is desired.

Example:
The following example shows the use of show sfp-alarm-trigger to display the information of SFP
alarm trigger of the interface ge1 (port G1):
switch_a#show sfp-alarm-trigger ge1
Temperature Alarm (Warning) Threshold:

Command Mode: Configure mode
Logon to Configure Mode (Configure Terminal Mode).
The switch_a(config)# prompt will show on the screen.

Usage:
Use this command to set temperature alarm (warning) threshold for SFP transceiver.
