Purpose: Sets the parameters for the WLI card and up to eight Wireless Base Stations
(WBS).
For the WLI card, the options are:

1. Open programming and select 845
Display shows
2. Press VOLUME keys to select WLI or WBS(1–8)
and press RIGHT soft key
3. Press VOLUME keys to select other options as re-
quired
Description
ID used to identify systems in the wireless environment. Different IDs
are used for each system.
Key used for registering wireless terminals. Different keys are used for
each system.
IP address of the first Domain Name Server (DNS).
IP address of the second DNS.
IP address of all WBS in the system used by the wireless terminals.
Different IPs are assigned to each system.
Codec that can be used for VoIP calls between WBS and terminals.
G.711u, G.711a, G.726, and G.729 may all be designated.
Description
The IP address
Gateway address of network on which WBS is installed
Netmask of network on which WBS is installed
MAC address of WBS that the system received when WBS was
connected to the system
Current software version
Operational status (On/Off)
The RF channel number used
