Purpose: Allows you to assign a type for the MGI ports, according to their required use.
Options are as follows:

PUB IP MGI3
ITP PAGED
SEQUENTIAL

ACTION
1. Open programming and select 615
Display shows (for example)
2. Press VOLUME keys to select USER type (e.g.
LOCAL ITP) and press RIGHT soft key to move
cursor
3. Press VOLUME keys to select MODE or MEMBER
and press RIGHT soft key
4. If you selected MEMBER, dial member entry
number (001–240 e.g. 002) or press VOLUME
keys to select number and press RIGHT soft key
Then dial port number, or press VOLUME keys to
select number and press RIGHT soft key
If you selected MODE, press VOLUME keys to
select ring mode SEQUENTIAL or DISTRIBUTE
and press RIGHT soft key
MGI port used to make calls with private type of IP phone
MGI port used to make calls with public type of IP phone
MGI port used to make a call to VoIP network
NTWK
MGI port used for Public IP Network
MGI port used to make a call through C.O. lines such as H.323
or SIP
MGI port used for Public IP Trunk
MGI port to be used if H.323 is necessary for a VoIP call such
as a facsimile
MGI3 port used for Public IP
Port used for paging calls to ITP phones
Ring mode
Ports included in the USER type.
