Commissioning using the BOP20 operator panel

7.2.1

Requirements

SINAMICS basics
If you are not yet familiar with SINAMICS basics (parameters, drive objects, BICO
technology, etc.), please read Chapter Basics (Page 107) before starting commissioning.
BOP20 operator panel
If you are not yet familiar with the BOP20 operator panel, please read Chapter Parameter
assignment via the BOP20 (Basic Operator Panel 20) (Page 122) before starting
commissioning.
Notation of the parameters
Expressed in full, a parameter consists of
the drive object + parameter number + index, with the following notation:
(oo)pxxxxx[ii]
(oo)pxxxxx
To make these easier to read, in this chapter the drive object specification has been omitted
from all parameters belonging to the "Drive control" drive object (= drive object 2).
For example, the specification p50076[1] refers to parameter (2)p50076[1] (= drive object 2,
parameter 50076, index 1).
7.2.2

〈2〉Setting the installation altitude
p55100, installation altitude
Setting the installation altitude of the device above sea level.
With installation altitudes above 2000 m, a current and voltage derating is performed.
〈3〉Setting the source for the control word
p840 signal source for starting/stopping
Recommended setting: p840 = r2090.0 (bit 0 in the 1st receive word from the fieldbus)
