8.8 Switch on, switch off, enable

8.8 Switch on, switch off, enable
8.8.1

Switch on / switch off (ON/OFF1) - control word bit 0

The "Switch on / switch off (ON/OFF1)" command is the command for switching the
SINAMICS DCP on and off under normal operating conditions.
The signal source is selected via p0840.
See function diagram 2580.
Procedure for switching on:
1. Specify the "Switch on" command.
2. The system exits operating state o7.
3. The precharging is performed in succession on both sides if the "Operation enable" is
present.
4. The controllers are enabled.
Procedure for switching off:
1. Specify the "Switch off" command.
2. The controllers are disabled.
3. The line contactors drop out.
4. Operating state o7.1 or higher is reached.
5. The DC-link capacitors are not discharged and can still have a hazardous voltage for
another 5 minutes.
8.8.2

OFF2 (disconnection) - control word bit 1

The OFF2 signal is LOW active (log. "0" state = disconnection).
The signal source is selected via p0844 or p845.

Procedure for specifying the disconnection:
1. The controllers are disabled.
2. The line contactors drop out.
3. Operating state o10.0 or higher is reached.
4. The DC-link capacitors are not discharged and can still have a hazardous voltage for
another 5 minutes.
