Additional properties
The input side (side 1, terminals P1/N1) of the device is connected to a DC link in a normal
application.
● The DC link does not have to be grounded. (for a 30 kW device from product version 02).
● The device input side must be connected (precharging circuit, fuse) as described in
Chapter EMC-compliant installation of SINAMICS DCP (installation instructions)
(Page 38).
The output side (side 2, terminals P2/N2) of the device is connected to a battery in a normal
application.
● The device output side must be connected (precharging circuit, fuse) as described in
Chapter Electrical connection (Page 35).
● Parallel connection
Several devices can be connected in parallel on the input side, the output side or on both
sides simultaneously.
