5.2.1.6 Confirm Tray 1 Solenoid Operation

This diagnostic tests the paper feed solenoid in Tray 1.
Execute Confirm Tray 1 Solenoid Operation:
1 Enter Diagnostics Mode 1. The LCD displays PRINT COUNTER OPERATION indicating the
printer is in Diagnostics Mode 1.
2 Press the MENU UP (1) or MENU DOWN (5) key until the LCD displays the CONFIRM TRAY 1
SOLENOID OPERA. message .
3 Press the ENTER key to start the test. The LCD displays the CONFIRM TRAY 1 message.

4 Verify that when you press the ENTER key, Tray 1 Feed Solenoid energizes momentarily (about
2 seconds).
5 If you wish to exit this test and enter another test use the MENU UP (1) or MENU DOWN (5) key
to scroll to another test.
6 To exit this test and return to normal operation, switch OFF the printer power then switch it ON.
