Cleaning the Paper Feed Roller

If the paper feed roller is dirty or paper powder is attached to it, paper may not be fed properly.
In this case, clean the paper feed roller. Cleaning will wear out the paper feed roller, so perform this only
when necessary.
You need to prepare
For the cassette 1: A single sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper (to be cut for use)
For the cassette 2: Three sheets of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper
1. Make sure that the power is turned on.
2. Flick the HOME screen, then tap
Using the Operation Panel
The setup menu screen will appear.
3. Tap Maintenance.
The Maintenance screen will appear.
4. Tap Roller cleaning.
The confirmation screen will appear.
5. Tap Yes.
6. Tap the paper source to clean (Cassette 1 or Cassette 2).
7. Follow the message to remove any paper from the paper source you selected in step 6,
then re-insert the cassette.
8. Tap OK.
The paper feed roller will rotate as it is cleaned without paper.
