client-name

Use the client-name DHCP Pool Host Configuration mode command to define the
name of a DHCP client. The client name should not include the domain name.
Use the no form of this command to remove the client name.
Syntax
name
client-name
no client-name
Parameters
name—Specifies the client name, using standard ASCII characters. The client
name should not include the domain name. For example, the name Mars should not
be specified as mars.yahoo.com. (Length: 1–32 characters)

DHCP Pool Host Configuration mode
Default Configuration
No client name is defined.
Example
The following example defines the string client1 as the client name.
