To install a line card in the router chassis:
1. Attach the ESD grounding strap to your bare wrist and connect the strap to the ESD point on the router
chassis. The ESD point is located above the status LED panel on the front of the router chassis. See
Figure 201 on page 339

2. Remove the cover panel by grasping the handles and pulling straight out to expose the slot for the line
