Cleaning the drive rollers in the film carrier
Purpose:
To avoid film transport malfunctions.
Remove the deposits on the drive rollers on the
left and right side of the film carrier. Use
cleaning strips (order no. CM+8.8506.1340.0).
− Dip the cleaning strip in water and wipe off
the water.
− Call up the manual positioning and insert the
cleaning strip: The cleaning strip is pulled in
just like a film.
− Repeat the procedure until both rollers are
free of deposits.
or:
− Remove the mirror box, the film carrier and
the film take-up.
− While the machine is off, turn the rollers TR4
and TR5 by hand and clean them with a
damp cloth.
− Also clean the hinged drive rollers with a
damp cloth.
− Clean the scanner filter surface
.
− Replace worn pressure rollers. Order for the
replacement:
2 x CM+9.8506.5015.1
4 x CM+7.0371.0072.1
− Insert the film take-up, film carrier and mirror
box again.
Caution!
Use only solvent-free cleaning agents.
